This post is for all my fellow expats who use iherb.com to order their favorite health food items that can’t be found in Korea. Iherb has made it possible for me to order so many of the grocery store items I love from Sprouts back at home in California. They have a $4.00 flat rate shipping fee that covers your order up to 15 lbs.! It is magical. I order A TON from them but I thought I would share my favorite items for enjoying the chilly fall weather.
I love making oatmeal on a cold morning. Try adding in some cinnamon, chia seeds, flax seed meal, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and raisins or apples. It will make you feel like a million bucks as you head off to work! You won’t be hungry for a while and don’t be surprised if you feel like you have a bit more energy to spare (in our line of work, this is a must!).
This tea is pumpkin spice perfection! It does have a pretty strong pumpkin smell so if pumpkin isn’t your cup of tea (pun intended) you might not love it. I sure do though! I just ordered Celestial Seasonings cinnamon apple spice tea and will let you know which one I deem more fall weather worthy! I also currently have the Yogi brand Refreshing Mint Vital Energy black tea and I L-O-V-E it. It is the perfect remedy for those mornings when you are dragging your feet or find yourself in need of an afternoon pick me up (which is every afternoon if you’re me).
Looking forward to baking these delicious cookies tonight! If they turn out well, I will post a pic!
Yes, we have cinnamon in Korea but this stuff blows it out of the water!!
My friend Leah thought I was going over board by adding on pumpkin hand cream to my order but I assured her that when everyone back at home is instagramming their Trader Joe’s pumpkin palooza filled lives, I will feel comforted knowing I have pumpkin spice scented hand repair cream (?!?!).
